Doug Jones has been talking about the rumours on this new fangled interweb about him playing the Silver Surfer in the upcoming Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer, and he's just added fuel to the fire.

Coming Soon have the following gossip:

...he would confirm that he's not planning to don a green-screen suit or doing motion capture for any movie in the future. On the other hand, he was wearing a shiny silver shirt and said that he really liked that color and that he has a whole outfit of that color picked out and is just waiting for his "credit card to be approved."

Rope of Silicon must have been at the same press conference, as they say something similar:

"I will not be wearing any green screen leotard in any film coming up, but, do you like this shirt on me. I am hoping to wear more of this color soon..."

Put them together and there are so many things you could gleam out of it, gleam as you will, for me that says he is doing it but contractually can't say. It's also suggesting that the character may not be all CGI again, perhaps I'm just clinging onto that hope that they'll not go full CGI and add some believability to the effects, but I the comments do suggest it. What do you think? What's he really saying?
