Miami Vice site updated
The Miami Vice official site has had a rework, and if you don't have a US postcode (zip code) you're not going to see the restricted content site. I guess that the studio aren't interested in a market outside the US. Idiots.
There's not much I can tell you about it, the normal site is looking good, and the blurb of the film is really trying to disassociate itself from the television series. As for the restricted site, well, enter your postcode. Mine has seven characters...so I shan't be telling you anything about it. If you don't have a five character post or zip code then you're stuffed too. What were the studio thinking?
Much as I want to sit here and be angry at them and much as I could talk down their film and rant to build myself up, I shan't. You see the more and more I've been seeing of trailers for this film, the more and more I'm getting interested in it. I'm beginning to think that we might see a turnaround in the fortunes of this film. Previously the talk was of an early review which said it was confused and a mess, well that was an early cut, but everything else is saying it's looking to be much better. Have you seen the trailers?
Now, Miami Vice PR people - get your site sorted so that non-US people are not excluded. Try for yourself over at the official site.
