Rachel Nicols in horrific P2

RachelNicols.jpgRachel Nicols is to star in another horror film called P2. It follows a woman working late on Christmas Eve, alone in the office and running from a stalking security guard.

From The Hollywood Reporter through Empire. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah I heard, and not just because I was gazing at the stunningly beautiful Nicols. No, the story sounds like a million others we've seen and heard before, but this time something is different. This one is written by Alexandre Aja and Grégory Levasseur, and in my book that makes it something rather special.

These two brought us Haute Tension (review) and The Hills Have Eyes (review), both superb horrors and extremely effective. The only sad thing is that neither are directing, instead Franck Khalfoun will make his debut. Aja is quoted as saying...

"With a strong plot in the vein of High Tension, P2 gives us a chance to further explore the survival aspect of the terror movie,"

I'm not sure what to make of the director choice, but we know that the story will be strong and scary, how will the directing turn out? Is this something you'll want to go and see?

Why should people go out and pay money to see bad films, when they can stay home and see bad television and pay nothing?
