Snipes in Kaos

WesleySnipes.jpgWesley Snipes is set to play quite an interesting role, that of Kaos, a gunman who carries a curse - anyone who dies by his gun joins the undead and set about hunting him. Sounds like a slightly different take on Blade with a cool twist, but if that's what it takes to get him back into one of these roles, then that's what it takes.

Snipes will play mysterious gunman Kaos, the son of a nun who breaks her covenant with God to ensure his survival. This act brings a curse upon Kaos - all those that die by his gun will return. Hunted by a gang of his undead former victims, led by the vicious Kansa, Kaos enlists Fabulos, a new young warrior to fight by his side.

According to Production Weekly through Coming Soon the film is called Gallowwalker and is to be directed by Andrew Goth from an original story by Joanne Reay. Certainly sounds an interesting role, and I do like Snipes who is another major untapped talent, sidelined as he is to specific genre roles. Still, if it gets him a lead, then it gets him a lead. Do you think this is a way around the ending of the Blade character?

Rex Kramer: Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. It's a dumb question... skip it.
