I saw it earlier today, thanks to my geek buds. (cheers)...

...it looks good. Serious, dramatic, dynamic, but yet light hearted somehow.

Theres' a nice shot about halfway through that is STRAIGHT out of the opening scene from the old animated show. The part where one of them is sliding down a wire and the others are jumping over the building...

...i'll watch this. Seriously. It's GOING to be fun.

But the trailer doesn't really show that much other than the fact that the CGI is very well done, almost realistically done...I don't remember seeing a human body so we can't be sure exactly what tone they're going for...but if you ask me, this trailer shows that this movie may be done in the way that the movies just could not be.

These turtles actually act and move like Ninjas, instead of large sluggish rubber costumed people.

The film could have some really good martial arts action if they continue with this route...something that the original films lost from the comics.

The CGI looks REALLY good in this. As mogulus said, nothing is given away other than that, but i'm definitely interested in seeing this. I loved the Turtles as a kid. Not the comics, but mainly the old cartoon, and the movies were fun too - props to the first one given it was financed independently.

Question: Why was it called Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles here in Ireland but Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the US?
