The Departed is, as I've said before, the big name remake of the excellent Hong Kong movie Infernal Affairs which has struck a negative chord since it was announced, now, finally we get to see a little bit online.

It's a very little bit, just some upcoming clips from a TV show, but there are still clips to be seen. The video is through Solace in Cinema on You Tube with a downloadable copy at Box.net [WMV].

Well I have to say it does look quite good with all those big names standing around, and that plaster cast scene looking very similar to the original. You can grasp that there are similarities, and yet I just can't believe that this is going to match the original. Even here the clips look loud, in your face, and overly explained. Perhaps I'm just overly concerned and maybe it will turn out well. What do you think after these short clips?
