The official website for The Reaping is now online and includes downloads, information and a trailer link. The film stars Hilary Swank and David Morrissey and is directed by Stephen Hopkins.

Swank plays a former Christian missionary who lost her faith after her family was tragically killed, and has since become a world renowned expert in disproving religious phenomena. But when she investigates a small Louisiana town that is suffering from what appear to be the Biblical plagues, she realizes that science cannot explain what is happening and she must regain her faith to combat the dark forces threatening the community.

Sounds like an interesting film, and I'm surprised to see Morrissey next to Swank after Basic Instinct 2, it either means Swank has dropped or Morrissey has risen...or perhaps neither, after all Hopkins brought us Lost in Space, Judgement Night, as well as many more. Can someone check out the trailer and give us a rundown?
