Two Kill Bill sequels

More news from Comic-Con and Quentin Tarantino, apparently once he has the Grind House Death Proof film out of the way he's returning to Kill Bill for not one, but two sequels.

Don't get too excited just yet, they're going to be animated films. One will most likely be a prequel showing how Bill gets to where he is, and the other might well be the sequel and another Bride's tale. The news comes from Bloody Disgusting who have been hammering Comic-Con with a bloody mallet.

I actually think this is a shame as I'd rather see live action versions of these, I'll definitely be less than interested for animated versions, what about you? Of course there's lots more that can be done in animation, but I can't help but feel we'll miss out on the bags of style that we saw in the live action version.

my hopes were high as a mountain top in tibet...and then I read the "animated" part...and they plumited down into the recesses of the Marinaras Trench. ( did I spell that right? oh well )

I'm one of the few people who thought the weakest parts of the first Kill Bill were the Ishi flashbacks in Anime format...I'm not a big anime fan...so maybe I'm biased.

I'd still give it a shot though...heck. It's QT.

LOL The animated part worked for me.

But animated sequels? Sounds like the Animatrix. We want full live action movies, not a mixture!!!

I really liked the anime parts in Kill Bill, but I wish Tarantino would just do his combined cut of Vol. 1 & 2, and walk on. We all know he's one of the best movie-makers in Hollywood - I'd much rather him make new films, like the already announced Inglorious Bastards and the rumoured Vega Brothers movie, rather than making unnecessary sequels or prequels.
