Wolverine script reviewed

The Wolverine movie, the next movie in the X-Men series, seems to be progressing well, and with everything that we're hearing about behind the scenes I think we're going to be surprised. I'm sure that this is going to be the biggest one of the series, and the script review says a few similar things.

I'll say allegedly now, because I'm not going to go and read the script, I'll leave that to those that want the spoilers. However I can tell you some nice snippets, for example here are the characters involved:

Silverfox, Victor Creed (Sabertooth), Blob, Barbarus, Beak, Agent Zero and Stryker

The review is over at Latino Review through Comic Book Movie.

They reckon that the script is "kick ass" and is "ready to go", although we do have to wait until somewhere around 2008 for the release. I'm excited about this, and I really think it will be the best so far, even without reading the script. What do you think?

No Mariko, no Japan? I think theyre making a mistake leaving that out, thats where they should really begin Logan's journey. Oh well what do I know?

Japan would definitely be interesing Simone, although there is SO MUCH material that they can use that you can't rule it our for possible sequels.

This thing is going to make huge amounts of money, so future sequels are definitely firm possibilities.

Anyone else pumped to see the name of Stryker mentioned? Man I hope they get Brian Cox back for the role. Would it be too much to hope that Singer came back to direct too?

Yeah I guess youre right Spidey, there is no saying that this is just one spin-off film for Wolvie. I guess I was so hang up on that storyline being my favorite of them all.

I wish you had not said that about Stryker, it'll be great to see Brian Cox in that role. Wont we be asking too much if we wanted Singer back, because heck I want him back!

I think they should change his claws to emery boards and make his mutant-power grooming. Oh, and Kevin Costner to direct. Oh, and a soundtrack by Barry Manilow.

Seriously though. They better get this right. I can't see any character with more potential for infinite development than Logan. (Aside from maybe Remy Le Beau but that's just favouritism!)

Personally I could not be happier at te reports on this script. Origin story? Bone Claws? Berserker Rage? Awesome!

This may just be the best comic book movie to ever be made. I'm stoked.
