Bond 22 loses Director
Previous rumours had Roger Michell directing the next Bond movie, the one after Casino Royale, however gossip today says that due to creative differences he's no longer involved.
Nothing that exciting, but I just find it so interesting that they're racing ahead with this sequel so quickly and for no apparent reason. The current film hasn't even been finished yet and the plans are afoot for the next. Now I could understand if they were trying to hit a cool 2007 date for the movie, but they're not, it's looking for 2008, so why the rush? Are they going to try and get as much out of Daniel Craig before he leaves his contract? He's certainly been mixing up his work so he doesn't appear pidgeon-holed, perhaps that's why.
