I did think that the idea of George Clooney being in the Pet Sematary remake was beyond belief, and it appears I was right to call it that way. Just today Clooney's publicist announces that it's not true. I mean how could it be, unless it was a huge cash cow to help him develop his next movie, as he has often said he does nowadays, but then a remake of Pet Semetary just wouldn't command that budget.

Bloody Disgusting carry the story. It'll be interesting to see the list of names drop and drop on this film. Perhaps the source just gave the Clooney name out so that the remake would get some early publicity?
