While we are on the subject of book to film adaptations, Simon Pegg is to play Toby Young in a film adaptation of Young's novel, How to Lose Friends and Alienate people.

Young's novel is based on his time working at Vanity Fair magazine. Young himself, and his boss editor-in-chief Graydon Carter come in for some harsh treatment, according to Variety through Coming Soon. Pegg, star of Shaun of the Dead has been cast and Robert Weide will direct his first feature film, having been at the helm for Curb Your Enthusiasm. Work starts next spring in the UK and New York.

Lets hope that is all the book to film adaptations for one day.
