Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny trailer online

JackBlack.jpgThe Tenacious D in 'The Pick of Destiny' trailer is now online, although you'll be hard pressed to watch it as the idiotic marketing executives release it on MTV ensuring that no one outside of their "territory" can see it, and even then you can only see it if you're using Windows Media Player DRM'd up to your eyeballs.

How to kill the marketing potential in one easy step. Hello, the Internet is about community, being inclusive, re-using content and all that? Don't you get it? Oh, I think I saw someone's eye twitch before they fell back asleep again.

Anyway, you can see the trailer, if you have the correct DNA, over at MTV Underpark. Good luck, and if you do get it, tell us about it. Or if you happen to find a copy ripped off and opened up for all to see, then you really are lucky!

oh man Jack Black is cool. In a way that few others are nowadays.

What amazes me is that he jumps from serious to comical so quickly.
King Kong to Nacho Libre to this.... and in King Kong, despite what others said, he made the point he set out to do, which wasn't that easy.

more power to him!!!

For your viewing pleasure and without any sign-up requirements, I present to thee....

Dear boy, you look absolutely awful. Why don't you try acting? It's so much easier.
