There's a bizarre rumour just appeared that Terence Howard from Crash and Four Brothers has just been offered a part by Jon Favreau in his upcoming Iron Man.

The heavy rumour from AICN goes something like this...

In the recent interview I did with Jon Favreau at Comic-Con, he told me that he was looking for a great actor that hadn't hit it huge yet, a name that wouldn't overshadow the title of the film...So, I checked in with sources deep within Paramount and Marvel to see if I could confirm this weird rumor...I finally got one of my sources to tell me that Terrence Howard was indeed offered a role in IRON MAN, but not that of Tony Stark...

They go on to summise that the role that Howard has been offered is that of James Rhodes, good friend of Tony Stark who is set to inherit the suit and role of Iron Man and eventually becomes known as War Machine (almost wrote Wart Machine!) when Stark dawns the persona again.

So Iron Man fans, is Terence Howard a good choice, or is he too big already for the role? I don't think he is, but I say one thing for this rumour, even if it doesn't come to pass at least sights are being set high for some strong acting talent.
