I'm warning you right now, this is a con and a half. The first three minutes of Renny Harlin's The Covenant are online right now, and those three minutes include opening titles. So all in all you're down to seconds of film footage. Those brief seconds make me think more of superheroes than of witches, but there we go.

The Covenant are a group of four students who have had their secret ancestory hidden from the world, they have been born with special powers, those which caused the witches to be hunted down and burned in the 1600's. Obviously when someone is found dead the secret starts to threaten to come out, and the covenant is broken.
