This teaser caught me. The Hoax is a film starring Richard Gere, Alfred Molina and Julie Delpy, and is about a con on the publishing industry where Irving (Gere) claims he has the best novel ever and seeks cash in return.

In what would cause a fantastic media frenzy, Clifford Irving (Gere) sells his bogus biography of Howard Hughes to a premiere publishing house in the early 1970s.

The teaser on UK IGN looks great fun, and you can positively see the excitement in Gere's face. He's a stunning actor, but just seems like he's seldom allowed to tap into that talent. After watching this what do you think? I know the subject matter might not be as attention grabbing as some, but look at those performances.
