This is an historic moment, the first competition on Filmstalker, and big thanks to Warner Brothers for passing on the goodies for the upcoming film The Departed. Directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Martin Sheen, Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin and Ray Winstone, this is the US remake of Infernal Affairs, a superb film, and the trailer for Departed certainly does suggest it's going to be a hell of a lot stronger than expected.

The prizes for the competition are four Departed posters and one T-Shirt, a picture of the shirt is over the page, and I'm going to make this first competition really easy for you to enter.

Simply email your name and postal address to competitions @ filmstalker.co.uk (remove the spaces!) and come the 15th of October I'll close entries, pick names at random, and you'll be up for a prize.

Note that the competition is only intended for USA and Canada entrants, but with a little sweet talking I've been told that one or two can be in the UK, so don't despair - if you're in the UK you could still win! Just no P.O. Boxes please.

Departed is released beginning the 5th of October in Malaysia, and then the 6th for the UK and USA with the rest of the world following. See over the page for the image of the shirt and some small print.

Details (email and postal addresses) will not be used for anything other than the pruposes of the competition, to notify you if you have won and to pass to Warner Brothers for them to mail the prizes to you.
