Open Hearts put on hold
Zach Braff’s Open Hearts, which he will direct and star in has been put on hold. He can’t get the cast he wants so he has decided to move production to next summer.
Cinematical reports that Braff was planning on remaking a Danish film called Elsker dig for evigt, the plot from IMDB sounds like this.
An engaged couple are torn apart after the man is paralyzed in an accident, and the woman falls in love with the husband of the woman who caused the accident.
It’s encouraging that Braff is waiting for the people that he wants to work with, and it’s also good that it is so different from his first film as director, Garden State. We shall have to wait and see if this leads to Braff starring in Fletch Won, as has already been mentioned on Filmstalker.
