Sin-Jin Smyth sequel and screenings
There are some excellent comments coming out about the horror film Sin-Jin Smyth, apparently the screenings are going down a storm, and the writer/director Ethan Dettenmaier is talking about the pressure of a sequel.
According to Moviehole it's been receiving standing ovations at the test screenings.
"There is a lot of pressure to do a sequel and we have an outline for it that takes place during a nuclear winter with United States in a modern-day Civil War"
For those of you who don't know what the film is about, you've missed out a lot:
Every Halloween at midnight, The Devil simultaneously appears in two places...the high plains of India, and a quiet cemetery in Kansas. On November 2nd, 'The Day of the Dead', two Federal Marshals report to the small town of Shin Bone, Kansas (moments before a tornado warning) to transport a prisoner with no past and no identity. He is known simply as...SIN-JIN SMYTH!
Sounds a great story, and so do the test audiences it would seem. Already time for a sequel? Well let's see how the release goes.
