David Strathairn is signed up to The Spiderwick Chronicles and The Bourne Ultimatum.

The story from Digital Spy is surprising in that Strathairn is joining the Bourne series. Now I'm not knocking the series too much, but Strathairn has become a huge name on some very high brow films and with some excellent acting roles, so moving to Bourne?

The Spiderwick Chronicles is another kids find magical item and get transported to another world story. Oh joy. Let me guess, does it become a trilogy or even a series?
