Arthur and the Invisibles (Minimoys) trailer online

LucBesson.jpgThe trailer for the Luc Besson directed film Arthur and the Minimoys (Arthur and the Invisibles) is online now, and it's looking really good. It actually makes me think of The Dark Crystal characters if they were in full computer animation. It highlights such stars as David Bowie, Snoop Dogg and Madonna. Luckily they're also alongside such talent as Mia Farrow and Freddie Highmore.

The trailer is over at Yahoo Movies [QT:S:M:L:FS:480p:720p:1080p:WMV] through Twitch.

The story is pretty much obvious from the trailer, something that is always a good thing. Arthur's Grandmother's house and land is put at risk when developers come to destroy it all. This not only threatens his Granny but also a mystical, minature world that she just told him about. A world that exists in the middle of the garden. To save both worlds he travels there to find a priceless treasure...It does look gorgeously done and seems to have some nice jokes littered about. What do you think? A real Shrek contender?

If Luc Besson is attached, methinks it will at least be entertaining. Doesn't look like anything new or fresh, but something fun to watch nontheless.
