There's another trailer for Saw III online, and this one tells us very little but ramps up the excitement and the prospect of horror. It's a nice little teaser, and it looks like it has been confirmed that Saw III is still in post-production.

According to Time Out the film is definitely still in pre-production, so that does suggest that the concerns over the lack of press screenings is solely due to them completing the film, and not because they want to avoid the press.
