Perfume English trailer online

Previously I posted about the German trailer for Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. Well now the English langauge version is online and it's looking pretty good.

This version carries less disturbing images than the German language one, but there are still a couple of shots in here that are slightly unnerving.

There are some wonderfully good looking scenes in there, and the cast is looking excellent with Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman. What do you think, especially those of you who have read the book?

Well, I can only say I am looking forward to this movie with excitement. The book was a best seller when I read it, and surprisingly good as well. This version looks great, and though it will not capture the entire density of the book, that´s for sure, it deserves a chance.

I absolutely love this book!!! I cant wait to see the film and how they will convert the scents/smells into visuals.
I love the passion and obsession the story arouses within people.

Richard, I've actually written a mini-review of the book version of Perfume in my blog. I even mentioned that if it werent for your article about it in FS, I would not have heard of it. I cant wait now to see the film and do a cross-over review of both medium.
