Here's rumour number eight four for the Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight. Could Harvey Dent be played by Ethan Hawke?

We've had Ryan Philippe, Jake Gyllenhaal and Guy Pearce all being touted as the lawyer Harvey Dent, a man who plays a big role in the future of the Batman stories.

Now though, Batman on Film through UK IGN have the rumour that perhaps it could be Hawke.

According to a longtime "friend" of Batman-on-Film.com, Ethan Hawke (Assault on Precinct 13, Training Day) is up for the role of "a lawyer" in the Warner Bros.

Mmm...longtime friend. The Pearce rumour came from Batman on Film, whereas the Philippe rumour came from elsewhere. Just another rumour from an incorrect tipster? Or do you think this could have something more to it? Hawke for D.A.?
