Abel Ferrera, the cult director, is set to bring something slightly different to the screen, a comedy called Go Go Tales which has already pulled a superb cast. Willem Dafoe, Bob Hoskins, Matthew Modine, Asia Argento, Naomi Campbell and Drea de Matteo.

The story is set in an up market dancing ladies establishment where the lap dancers are also members of a talent agency which is run by the owner of the Manhattan club. So they're not just lap dancers, oh no, they have other talents.

The news from Production Weekly sounds quite good, it's bound to be hard hitting and slightly off center, and what a cast list.

Ferrara has a number of classic films under his belt, The Driller Killer, King of New York, Bad Lieutenant and The Funeral to name but a few, and he always works with amazing character actors. More of the same here despite the comedy tag?
