Undersea heist film?!
Sounds quite bizarre doesn't it? A film about a diamond heist that has to take place onboard a submarine. Well that's the plot for The Akula Job in a script by Mark DiStefano.
The story is about a top class thief who is recruited by a DEA agent to steal some diamonds from a submarine that is constantly on the move some six hundred metres below sea level.
The news comes from The Hollywood Reporter through Empire.
I think it does sound kind of fun, and typical of the "how will they do it" heist movie. Well, not that typical because they've really chosen a tricky one here. Time for the Italian\Brazilian Job crew to relocate?
