Behind the Mask slasher trailer online

BehindtheMask.jpgThere's a trailer online for the film Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon, a horror film that I had never heard of until now.

Out of one hundred and eighty nine votes it's rated as 7.7 out of 10 on IMDB and the blurb has:

The next great psycho horror slasher has given a documentary crew exclusive access to his life as he plans his reign of terror over the sleepy town of Glen Echo, all the while deconstructing the conventions and archetypes of the horror genre for them.

Read that first and then have a look at the trailer over at the film's official site where the trailer kicks off in Flash but you can pause that and hit the Quicktime button on the bottom right of the screen. AICN through Obsessed With Film found the story.

Now what do you think? It certainly seems to be interesting, having a documentary crew discover a serial killer/slasher sounds a little like Man Bites Dog, but there's quite a different feel to it.
