There's a short clip online for Hilary Swank's next film Freedom Writers, the true story of a teacher who inspires her kids to come out of their day to day gang life and write.

She plays the teacher Erin Gruwell who, in the clip, starts to talk about a lesson where they're going to learn about poetry through Tupac's lyrics.

It's an okay clip, and there's nothing wrong with it as such, however you can see the dramatic point in the story and the way it's going to play out from every other inspirational teaching film there's been. However this is true. Just how true I'm not so sure, we'd need someone who'd read the book to comment, especially once they'd seen the film.

Regardless of how true it is, I would have thought there were better clips to release than this. Something showing the dramatic weight of the piece.
