The international trailer for Hannibal Rising is now online, and it's looking better than some of the other stills and teasers we've seen to date.

This film is taken from the Thomas Harris book of the same name and looks at how Hannibal became the way he did and his early years which made him a killer.

I've been given the book for Christmas, and coincidentally I'm racing through Hannibal, the third book, already. I don't think much of Hannibal. I'm way more than half way through and I know more about the monster Mason Verger than I do about any other character, and he's dull and incredibly cardboard. There are passages of text that just don't read well, seem out of place, and sometimes have no connection with the setting you're in, and I'm just not held by it. Much like the film then.
