Happy Holidays and many thanks from Filmstalker

ChristmasTree.jpgCan I just say a Merry Christmas, Xmas or happy Holidays to you all. Whatever you believe, and whatever you practice, this is a time that gives us a gentle push to remind us that we're all in this together, and I don't just mean online! It's a time to look back, to say thanks, to say I love you, and just generally be nice to one another.

Can I just say thanks to Josh, Rafe and the guys at Cinema Blend, everyone at Film Rotation, all those at Bits of News, Michael and the team at MoviesOnline, all the guys at Twitch especially logboy and Todd, Matt at Darkmatters, the guys at Dark Horizons, everyone at Digital Spy, I Spit On Your Movie, Celebritology, Time Out, Jo Blo, AICN, and everyone else who has linked to the site and/or provided support this year. There's far too many sites to list and I'm sorry if I've missed you out.

I'd also like to say thanks to you readers out there, especially those that are getting pitched into the discussions with a passion. So many thanks to you, the reader, for choosing Filmstalker, I genuinely appreciate it and it makes it all worthwhile.

A few personal mentions out to Simone, Peter, Hap, Louise, James Russell, Dave, logboy, Pablo, _ram-jaane, ISO100, Mike, Meli, Spidey1703, Lee, and everyone else. I'm sorry I can't list all your names, and if I've missed someone out in either of these lists I do apologise, there's nothing meant by it, there's just too many to list. Not to mention that I'm suffering from a bug and haven't eaten for over a day and I'm feeling a little out of it.

Anyway, it's been a wonderful year, and even today I've had to upgrade the hosting again, can you believe it, on Xmas Eve? I hope you have a great holiday and that you spend some wonderful time with friends and family, just remember to come back!

Merry Christmas in the best of companies, Rich!!! I hope you recover soon from that buggie.

And the show will go on! ;)

Thanks for the kind appreciation Richard, it has been a pleasure being one of your regular filmstalker alongside everybody else and the new names that I have been seeing recently, and we're definitely all looking for another great year for Filmstalker come 2007! May it also be a better year for films next year too. ;)

Feel well soon and may that bug get out of your system fast - made me think, did you wash your hands before eating? :D

Happy holidays and an exciting New Year in 07 for movies. I too have the damn bug, but I'm beginning to kick it's ass!

Merry Christmas! And once the wee fella is up and running I'm sure he'll have his second bookmark as Filmstalker (sorry, dude, even alphabetically you'll be second to Disney).

though I've not commented in a while, man, I'm still around. I read every post and still think yours is the most personal and fun blog out there about the subject matter.

I'll be here, man. And happy holidays to you and yours. See you in the new year! : )

*sniff* I feel all special now...

Simone - Many thanks! My Dad has been Environmental Health all his working career - of course I wash my hands! He's drummed that into me enough.

Mike - Sorry to hear you have it too. I'm now missing Xmas lunch at the in-laws because I'm so unwell. Hope you get over it quicker than me!

Lee - Damn. Have to change the name of the site!!

Mogulus - See I knew I would forget people. Nothing meant by it. I keep seeing other site names that I should have mentioned too...

James - So you should, so should we all. Merry Xmas.

You forgot to mention Vic from Screen Rant! :P

Okay I'll let you off the handwashing bit. Hehehe... I am sure your Dad and I will have a lot to talk about - career wise - if only you all lived nearer, or vice versa.

Damn! You see, another important name forgotten...oh I wish I'd never mentioned anyone now!

Thanks Vic too!

Merry Christmas my good man.
Eat, drink and be merry!

Have a great weekend with lots of joy for you and yours. CHEERS!

It's always the thought that counts Richard. ;)

Happy Festivus people!

Sorry to hear that you're under the weather Richard. Hope you feel better soon. If not I'll make sure to get twice as hammered on New Years Eve to make up for your absence.

I not it not because because I want to, but because I love you.

I swear.

"I not it"???

Apparently I went and got a head start...

Cheers and Merry Merry!

Hope you had a great christmas Richard and the same goes for all your readers, I look forward to reading filmstalker in the new year.

The words "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" which I saw on an Italian movie poster, are perhaps the briefest statement imaginable on the basic appeal of the movies.
