Hills Have Eyes Part II banned poster

TheHillsHaveEyes2_Poster.jpgThe MPAA have been hacking away at the poster for The Hills Have Eyes Part II to show that being alive and fighting to escape is far scarier than having been killed and wrapped entirely in plastic.

The most horrifying thing is that everyone outside of the US and Canada have no one that is as stringent as the MPAA and we're liable to see the uncensored version, that means we're all going to take to the hills and start murdering passers by in violent copycat murders, or have serious mental scarring after seeing the poster, suffering from nightmares and trauma for the rest of our natural lives. Mind you I think we have a group like the MPAA in Europe once before, but some war wiped them all out.

Anyway, courtesy of Eat My Brains through Rope of Silicon, you can see the unedited poster above. I think the problem is that the person is still alive and you can see their hand. Just click on the Eat My Brains link for the full size one, or even better, select the Rope of Silicon link to see an animated image of the two posters flashing back and forth.

Is it really necessary?
