Rambo IV script reviewed online

Rambo.jpgThe script for Rambo IV: Pearl of the Cobra has been reviewed online, and it's received a B+, described as being really, really good.

I don't think this should come as a surprise though, we were expecting it. Stallone is a strong writer and knows this character inside out, so when it came time for the final Stallone review of the script and rewrite, Latino Review wanted to see it, and they got to, releasing the review online. Here's a few excerpts of the review found through Jo Blo:

The next chapter finds Rambo recruited by a group of Christian human rights missionaries to protect them against pirates, during a humanitarian aid deliver to the persecuted Karen people of Burma. After some of the missionaries are taken prisoner by sadistic Burmese soldiers, Rambo gets a second impossible job: to assemble a team of mercenaries to rescue the surviving relief workers...

...So what is the verdict on the script? Is it as good as ROCKY BALBOA? The answer is a resounding yes. It is really, really good, hence the B+ rating.

Excellent. I'm as excited as I am about Balboa.

Stallone is back. I saw a clip this morning from Rocky Balboa where Rock is reminiscing about skating with Adrian in R1. Paulie is with him but not having a good time about it. Stallone's acting in this scene is absolutely superb. If Rambo 4 is as good as the script reviewers are saying, I am really looking forward to seeing it.

Yep, we've got that clip.
