Talia Shire plays Adrian, the love of Rocky Balboa's life in all the films, and she's given an interview about her appearance in the last of the Sylvester Stallone classics.

There is a hefty spoiler in the interview if you haven't caught it before in some of the clips that have been released to date.

Here's what she had to say about her thoughts on her possible appearance in the film when she started to hear about the project, and also on whether she thought Stallone could bring back Rocky to the big screen successfully.

"...my being in the movie or not was not as interesting as how Sylvester was going to achieve this. Ultimately, I was wondering how in the world he was going to justify getting Rocky back into the ring. ...Rocky is a folk hero. There was a great mythological aspect to the first one, and this film has that. I am so in his corner. Sly is so gifted, and the writing in this piece is courageous. It is Rocky's rebirth."
