Tag horror comic adaptation

Tag.jpgThere's another new horror film announced today that has a different take to its traditional fare. Instead of the usual horror zombie type stories, this one has a very unique twist.

The story comes from a comic series called Tag which is about a man who is touched by someone who is cursed, cursed to be one of the walking dead, living and thinking but all the time decaying in front of his own eyes. The only way to save themselves is to pass the curse on by touch, by tag.

You can read more about the comic series over at Boom Studios, and the story comes through Cinema Blend.

The comic is written by Keith Giffen and Kody Chamberlain and The Hollywood Reporter says that Carey Malloy is set to write the adaptation of the extremely recently released comic series.

I have to say this sounds quite a cool concept and it could make for an excellent film.

Nobody's done anything to my book. It's right up there on the shelf. Hollywood mangles movies, not books.
