DOA goes direct to DVD

DOA.jpgEarly on in November we heard that the DOA: Dead or Alive film wasn't going to get a US release, and then it goes straight to DVD in April this year.

The story comes from Kotaku.

What a lengthy wait, from the UK release in September 2006 to April 2007 DVD release, and what a waste of all the marketing and the press momentum. On a film that they new wasn't going to be a huge earner, you wonder if they could have planned it a bit better and saved a little cash. Was it really that bad?

Ah, what a shame.

Movable Type 3.34

It's possible, Pig, I might be bluffing. It's conceivable, you miserable, vomitous mass, that I'm only lying here because I lack the strength to stand. But, then again... perhaps I have the strength after all. DROP... YOUR... SWORD!
