The trailer for Rescue Dawn starring Christian Bale and Steve Zahn is online in Quicktime and HD. It tells the story of an American pilot who is shot down on his first secret mission over Vietnam and captured by the Viet Cong. He's held prisoner in horrible conditions and tortured, until the time comes that he has to escape and take as many prisoners with him as he can. It's based on a true story and is directed by Werner Herzog no less.

What do you think? Another great Bale performance? The latter half of the trailer does look it might be overly sentimental and setting up the usual one mand struggling to survive, dragging along his mate and eventually having to choose to save himself routine, but it still looks like it might be a strong tale.
