Happy Feet 2 looks like it might get made with the co-writer, producer and director George Miller saying that he's interested in making another one.

"It's certainly now a real possibility," Miller told the AAP. But he added that it would not be his next project. "There's about two or three films I want to do before we would ever embark on that, including another 'Mad Max' sooner or later."

Add to that the fact that The Age through Coming Soon is reporting it's made US$350 million worldwide already and I think you could say that the studio would be keen too.

While talking about Mad Max 4, and we've heard this before from him, he reaffirms that Mel Gibson will most likely not be in the film. Damn. That would have been a great ending to have an aging Mad Max still left fighting.

He said that there's two films he wants before he tries Happy Feet 2 and Mad Max 4 and that he was likely to start on Mad Max 4 before Happy Feet 2, and no, he wouldn't say what they were.
