No surprise really that Rob Zombie has announced Sheri Moon Zombie has joined the cast of Halloween, but the surprise is that she's going to play Michael Myers mother.

There's also news from Rob Zombie's site that William Forsythe will be playing the abusive boyfriend of Mother Myers, Ronnie White. Both are from the disappointing The Devils Rejects (Filmstalker review).

Well there's no great shock there for me, I can kind of see already which way this film is shaping with the cast, and it's not going to be near the original for me. What do you think?
