Filmstalker: Saw IV plot reveal?

There's a little bit of information been leaked out about Saw IV, and although it's not a big spoiler, there is a little teaser of how they might continue the series. Now consider this a warning, there is spoiler information to follow for the ending of Saw III and the continuation in Saw IV.

Someone has apparently read the script, now I find this surprising already because it is so early in development and we only recently heard about scriptwriters being taken on for the film, well recently in production terms. So I'll be really amazed if there is a script to read, still the comments that are online at If It's Movies suggest a possible direct continuation.

I’ve actually just read the script to the upcoming sequel, set to film in March, and the details I’ve given you are indeed true. The little girl i talk of is Jeff’s daughter… and you will be completely shocked when you see what Jeff and his daughter have to endure in Part 4. Actor, song writer, and rapper Ja Rule has also been cast to star in the films opening scene on the first day of shooting in Toronto. More details as I recieve.

I'm not sure how real this is, but how else could they continue the story? I know I've talked about this before and I just can't figure anyway other than there's already a series of Jigsaw traps already setup, or that someone else is taking the helm. Could it be Jeff's daughter? What do you think?

I think a fourth film should be the final film, and yes it would make perfect sense to just continue where we left off with Jeff. I think he still has a chance for redemption.

I have actually gotten word that this information is most likely false. Sorry for getting anyone's hopes up on this rumor.

Too bad, this would make for a good storyline if you ask me.

Hi everyone, my name is Kitty and this is what I think Saw IV will be about:

I believe that Doctor Lawrence from Saw I will have something to do with carrying out Jigsaw's legacy because they never explain what happened to the doctor if he made it out of that room and didn't bleed to death they didn't show what happened to his body they didnt say anything so well I don't know what it is but this may give you guys some incentive. To give you guys another thought to how the movie could be more interesting but NOT with Ja Rule, I just wanna put that in there because he [Richard-Removed expletive] sucks.

Hi guys,
I heard from a source of mine that the guy who plays jigsaw will be in the fourth movie? how you may ask he did die at the end of the third one. I'm told by my source (who could be wrong ) That jigsaw or John Kramer has made video footage of himself before he died and left tape messages as a way to continue his work with jeff after his death. It will be interesting to see what will happen in this film but i think it will be a great ending to the saw movies.

It actually makes sense and possibly explains the wax sealing of the tape at the end too. Is he highlighting the first step to take? Saw from beyond the grave?

Hello, Well from what I hear Saw IV will be a prequel showing you just how Jigsaw know all about his victims also I hear Jessica Alba will be apart of film in some matter...maybe Johns unknown daughter from Jill??? I just hope that Dr. Gordon shows up it bugs me that we Have no idea what happened to him.

I think Jeff will continue the Saw legacy, on account him and his daughter are the only ones who didn't die.
He probably learned a bit from John-(The Original Saw)

It says this on a few sites.......
"Jigsaw still haunts the living in Saw IV, forcing them to appreciate life, or face death. As a continuation of Saw III, Jeff must find his daughter and escape the building to which they are confined before they both die. After finding another tape of Jigsaw, Jeff realizes there may be a newly added piece of the puzzle that he must decipher before it’s too late!"
I think SAW V will be a prequel.....

Yeah, I've mentioned that on the site too, but I don't see how it means prequel. It looks like it's a direct continuation of the last film.

i think saw iv will be coming out around october time,and they can make it work because the plot ive read so far from other website sounds like it'll be interesting. Would be good to see if they leave the ending as a cliff hanger like saw 3,and if they do,they'll probably be a saw 5 or something.

Ok lets cut to the chase. With everbody anticipating Saw 4,alot of rumours are circling regarding the plot,as regards the characters and storylne.I aint a franchise fan but this ones different. It Keeps you thinking a year or 2[from films 1-3] down the line due to the films being very detailed and well thought out whilst the editing is meticulous[doubt i spelt it rite]. Firstly, there's no way the writers would make it obvious as to the outcome of the film. Is Dr Gordan Dead ?,will jigsaws wife be in the movie?, will Jigsaw have a child who will carry on his legacy? Was The letter Amanda reading significant? I Read an interview with Darren Lynn-bousman and the man seems too smart, and shrewd to make a predictable 4th film. These rumours have crossed the writers minds anyway. If I was writing I'd change the ending just before the release anyway. They're too clever basically. But looking forward to it anyway. Of course I wanna see Dr Gordon Back, because he passed the test and yeah, i couldn't notice in the flashbacks whether he's conclusively finished off[ probably due to the mind trip the films send you]. Anyway, i dont believe in these comment blogs but appreciate this one and where some of you guys are coming from.Anything Saw is good.Anyway i've said too much So from London to the United States . DR LAWRENCE GORDON...

if you watch the end of the first movie, it shows a door with the name "LAWRENCE GORDON, foot surgeon."

or whatever.

Dr. Gordon made it out alive. He's a foot doctor now. And I already know how Jigsaw knows his victims.

Dr Lawrence --- the hospital that jigsaw was at for his cancer.

The weird guy to carry on his work-- the same hospital.

The people in the second movie-- A detective and his son. A bunch of people that the detective had thrown in jail/prison.

The wife in the third movie-- the hospital

So the real question is, how does Jigsaw know Amanda, Adam, The Detective?

They're all dead, its not like it matters.

This new movie [[saw//four]] is about Jeff continuing through Jigsaws traps to obviously save his daughter.

I thought all of this was pretty obvious at the ending of each of the movies.
