Teeth is the very unlikely film that's being raved about at Sundance just now, in horror realms at least. The film has already been bought up by the Weinstein's and is set to be released later this year. It's the story of a woman realising her sexuality, but also that she has a rather unusual addition to her genital area.

She has teeth in her vagina. Yes, that's the story. When she is struck by male violence teeth appear. Unsurprisingly she is a member of the local chastity group and she struggles hard to keep herself from sexual activity, but it's made difficult by her growing feelings and her stepbrother's increasingly sexual behaviour towards her.

According to Bloody Disgusting the director, Mitchell Lichtenstein already has a sequel in mind.

"I've got a lot more adventures in store for Dawn (our hero with vagina dentata)," he continues, "We Haven't finished her story yet... [I'm] looking into possibilities now."

Oh lord, perhaps this could be a franchise? Mind you after a few films perhaps the idea would become a bit long in the tooth. Oh dear.
