I've been thinking that probably not a lot of people know what Barbarella is all about and so I was thinking of tracking down the trailer, but then someone beat me to it this morning and so I can now show you the original trailer for the film that's set for a remake.

I have to say though that after this I think you might have no better idea about it, but you'll maybe see why I hate those snapping mouthed dolls so much!

You can see the trailer in the main page of the article. I still can't figure out how they are going to adapt this for a modern audience as it really did peak when sex and love were everything in the sixties, just look at the original tagline:

Who seduces an angel? Who strips in space? Who conveys love by hand? Who gives up the pill? Who takes sex to outer space? Who's the girl of the 21st century? Who nearly dies of pleasure?

Everytime I see it, I just think of a female Austin Powers. That's the only way I can see that they could make this film work. Still, perhaps something different will come out of it.
