Crank writers develop medical crime thriller

Crank_Poster.jpgCrank (Filmstalker review) which was great fun, tremendously exciting and visually mad. However it seems that they might be toning down the wild factor somewhat as they turn to a medical murder mystery in Pathology.

According to Variety through Jo Blo the german commercial director Marc Schoelermann is making his directorial debut on the film which follows a group of medical students who compete to commit the perfect unsolveable crime, presumably using their skills in medical training.

Sounds interesting, and is quite a departure from the wild stylised action that we saw in Crank.

I dont think we can have enough medical crime thrillers, I like the idea of it already.
