Filmstalker: Facebook and a brand new feature

Hi everyone, hope you're enjoying the BAFTA's at the moment, Ricky Gervais and Simon Pegg were very funny but come on, bring back Stephen Fry!

Anyway, two things to report. For a while now I've been on Facebook along with a couple of friends, but now I think I'll open it up to the Filmstalker readers for all to read. So please head over and join me, a couple of the readers who are there already, and get onboard the Filmstalker discussion group. Also of interest are that Twitch Film have joined up too, so if you sign up and join me you'll see the link to their discussion group too.

Next up is a little change to the site. Filmstalker now has tags on stories. If you select a story from the past few weeks you'll see the tag list at the bottom of the story just above the author posted line. Select one and you'll see a list of stories that have the tag you just selected, simple. I still have the last two and a half thousand stories to tag, but we'll get there!

Hope you like the additions, let me know how useful you find them.

The tags are quite impressive, and does that mean we will use Facebook now from now on for all Filmstalker related community discussions?

Yeah you are, or rather the site is. Lord I have no time to do anything else and I'm even running out of sleeping time. I'm seriously drained from Filmstalker!

Anyway, I'm not sure, we'll see how many people join Facebook first.

Well my work has banned Filmstalker, Bloglines, and a host of other film sites...Nightmare!

Yeah, the whole thing is crazy...one day it'll all go up on my site, although it probably won't stay there for long.
