Janet Jackson is getting her film career into gear again as she stars in Tyler Perry's next film Why Did I Get Married? The film is based on his stage play which carries the same name, he is also set to star in the film.

The film will look at a couple who go away every year to a cabin to examine their marriages in a group setting. This outing sees one of the women bringing a single, sexy woman who causes trouble for both couples, and probably with the men no doubt. This is the plot according to Variety through Coming Soon.

I have only seen Jackson in one film, Poetic Justice, and although the film wasn't fantastic, she was a pretty convincing actress. Have you seen her in anything else and can she act as well as she sings?
