The next superhero franchise could perhaps be the biggest yet with the news that Warner Brothers have hired two writers to develop a Justice League screenplay. Two writers with no real credited experience have been given the script.

Now mostly this wouldn't really be an issue would it? Except this time we're looking at a story that has Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and so on. There are major superheroes in this film, superheroes who already have their own franchise running and their own actors in the roles.

So there are a number of questions hanging around this story from Variety through CHUD.

Firstly, how has such a big film been passed to these two seemingly inexperienced writers Kiernan and Michele Mulroney, and secondly how are they going to get these big names on the screen? Are they really going to get Christian Bale and Brandon Routh in the leads, and then whoever plays Wonder Woman (finally!)?

This doesn't really seem like it has set off on the right foot does it? I just can't see them getting a project of this size to the finish line in a deserving manner. Can you?
