Resident Evil: Extinction teaser online

ResidentEvilExtinction.jpgThere's a teaser trailer online for the new Resident Evil: Extinction and it's showing off the desert destruction of Las Vegas very nicely.

The film is the continuation of the now classic videogame series Resident Evil, fun and scary to play, it made it to the big screen carrying the fun and some of the scariness with it. This latest installment looks like it might be just as enjoyable as the rest, but there's not much to see apart from the subtle hints at the setup.

You can see the teaser over at Yahoo Movies [WMV:QT] through the cool Horror-Movies.ca. Have a look and see what you think, I love the zoom out part, the zoom in is a bit messy but after that it's whispering in your ear, action, action, action.

In this installment of the series we see survivors from Raccoon City making their way through the Nevada desert trying to make it to the wastelands of Alaska for some hope of survival, all the time there's Zombies and the Umbrella Corporation to deal with.

Can anyone admit to enjoying these films? I've just seen the first and I did enjoy it, there was nothing deep about it, but the setups and action were really quite good.

I saw the trailer when I went to see the mediocre Ghost Rider. I got all excited with the start of the trailer, which looked really cool what with the buried Vegas far in the future concept and all... but then I saw Milla and the Resident Evil logo come up... :-\

I enjoy them. The second was a bit stupid, but it's still all in good fun.

Yeah I'll admit that I get a kick out of this series. As adaptaions from video games go, this one isn't too bad. Besides, my girlfriend's SFX makeup teacher worked on the Nemesis creature from RE2, so I kinda had to watch it... hehe.

One of my favourite B movie horrors. Probably one of the few i actually watch. It helps that they use attractive actors who never seem to get hurt anywhere near their makeup.
