Roth says Hostel: Part II is the end

HostelPartII.jpgIt looks like Hostel: Part II might be the end of the road for the Hostal characters as far as Eli Roth is concerned, of course never say never, but in a recent press interview he did say that he'd like it to end with the current film.

Roth further explained that Hostel 2 picks up exactly from where the first one left off and he that he would like to conclude the story in part 2.

Obviously the possibility of a Hostel part 3 would depend on the success of the sequel, but he said he would prefer not to take it further than 2

So yes, the usual qualifiers apply to the comments through AITH. If it's a huge success and earns loads of money, then the studio offer him a ridiculously good deal, he'd be mad not to take it. However he does seem to be drawing a firm line underneath the series the creator and saying that he hopes this is the end perhaps really is the final word.

However, this is Hollywood we're talking about, so it's anyone's guess. I know we've yet to see the second, but would you like to see the series continue? Or would you rather Roth moved onto Cell and such?

Acting is not the noblest profession in the world. There are things lower than acting - not many, mind you. The politicians give you something to look down on from time to time.
