Eli Roth has just finished filming Hostel: Part II, and the rumour has appeared that he's all but signed up for Hostel III already. According to the report next up is Cell and then he's back to his soon to be franchise.

There's no real meat to the rumour other than a report in Variety that IGN are referring to. It also says that the release date of the second film will determine the third's timing.

Actually I think it more likely Cell and the returns on Hostel: Part II will determine the exact timing. I think that if he doesn't stick to the same storyline of making the group bigger, more secretive and doing another kidnapping, then perhaps there could be something more to explore in it.

I'm really looking forward to the second, because Hostel (Filmstalker review) did freak me out. Can you stomach a third episode in the series?
