Filmstalker: Butler and Snyder video interviews online

What is it with Gerard Butler, I can't stop posting about him. To be fair it's more around the success of the superb film 300 (Filmstalker review), but here he is again with a video interview where he talks about the film and his performance.

Not only do I have Gerard Butler on video, but there's also the complete London screening Q&A that I attended, as well as a couple of clips from the film, and you can see them all here in Quicktime.

I have other formats available should you require them, but I thought the full size Quicktime would be your favourite. Let me know if you want different sizes or formats posted.

Enjoy...The Butler interview has him pretty animated and excited about the film, and that in itself is good to watch when so many actors and actresses sit and regurgitate the same answers that they did ten minutes before in the last interview in the same chair for the last five hours. This guy is really into the film, and you can tell.

Thanks for these Richard, it was worth skipping the cinema tonight and catch up with all the videos. I saw this from BBC tonight, and thought I'd share it here.

Glasgow-born Butler, 37, said: "I used a lot of the Scotsman in my role because there is a great similarity in what goes on inside the warriors of old that has been very much lost.

"I read the story, I learnt about the Spartans. I was doing it for Greece but I was doing it for Scotland as well."

Richard I get to see 300 tonite !!!!!!!! Holly shit the highlight of the first 1/4 of 2007 for me then is off to Hawaii for 2months! HA!

Just watched "300" FUC_ING WOW!!!!!! That was about 12hrs ago and I am still buzzing Richard. This by far is the best movie for 2007, so far..My wife, who is not into sword and sandals, also loved it!!
The only negative comment was there was not enough battle scenes and during the movie my wife felt xerses had brought the freak circus with him to entertain the spartans rather than fight them!!!!!

Perhaps Miller will get paid to do a sequel/prequel.

I was sort of amused when it was said somewhere that the Spartan phalanx had to be changed, making what we saw in the movie not historically accurate, so I wonder how they did it exactly.
