del Toro's El Orfanato (The Orphanage) trailer online
There's a cracking trailer online for El Orfanato aka The Orphanage which is produced by Guillermo del Toro, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and written by Sergio G. Sánchez, and it looks pretty creepy.
There's only one name I know in that list, but Sánchez next piece of writing is also being produced by del Toro again, 3993 which is another horror as IMDB write it up:
A ghost story about 'the hostages left to fortune by the past' set in 1990's Spain and with connections with Spanish Civil War in 1939.
This film though is about a woman who returns to the orphanage where she grew up and intends to restoring and reopening it to be a home for disabled children. Once there her son begins to see an imaginary friend, and the fantasy soon turns to a nightmare. Creepy huh?
You can see the trailer over at HorrorMovies.ca [Flash:Embed]. It does look promising, and with del Toro attached you can assume that there is going to be something a little special about it all.
